1. Find the existing flight

Open FLY NOW and the active record. Note its ID, current status and last displayed simulator information. Check that you are using the intended portal account and aircraft. Keep this record open while investigating; a second record can make recovery and rewards harder to understand.

2. Check pairing and live data separately

Confirm the simulator is running and the supported bridge or plugin is connected. Windows flyLAT Web Bridge detects MSFS or X-Plane; native X-Plane plugins remain available on the supported platforms. Follow connection setup if pairing is missing.

A paired connector may still have no fresh simulator data. Compare the displayed position and aircraft state with the simulator, and read any connection message. After restoring the connection, check the existing flight status before using the available resume or tracking controls.

3. Resolve a blocked finish

After landing, confirm that the simulator is on the ground at the intended destination and the portal has received that state. Read the completion warning and correct its stated cause. Landed and Processing do not yet mean Completed. Avoid repeatedly submitting completion while the same request is being processed.

4. Escalate with useful evidence

If recovery fails, collect flight ID, simulator, connector version, UTC time, last successful update and exact error. Include a screenshot without credentials. Do not delete the flight or invent another operation to force a result. Follow the support workflow and review flight statuses.
