A paired account identifies who the connector belongs to. Live simulator data confirms that the current flight can be tracked.
1. Choose the connector for your system
Open Settings → Simulators and use the offered official downloads and setup instructions.
- On Windows, flyLAT Web Bridge supports automatic MSFS/X-Plane detection.
- The native Windows X-Plane plugin remains an alternative.
- On macOS and Linux, use the native X-Plane plugin for the supported simulator version.
Use the package for your operating system and simulator. Check its current installation instructions rather than copying a package from another platform.
2. Install and pair
- Follow the selected connector's installation steps.
- Launch the simulator and the bridge, or load the native plugin as instructed.
- Begin pairing from the connector and sign in to the intended portal account.
- Review and accept the pairing request shown in the browser.
- Return to the connector and establish the connection.
For the X-Plane plugin workflow, use Plugins > flyLAT > Connect when instructed. Keep pairing codes private.
3. Verify the live state
Open FLY NOW and prepare the intended operation. Confirm the selected simulator and connector status. Check that live location and on-ground state reflect the loaded simulator before starting tracking.
Successful pairing alone does not mean the simulator is currently connected or at the correct departure airport.
4. Troubleshoot in order
- Confirm the simulator and correct connector are running.
- Check the account pairing and selected simulator.
- Read connection or version messages in both the connector and portal.
- Reconnect through the supported control if needed.
- If a tracked flight already exists, inspect it before creating another.
Collect connector version, operating system, simulator version and the exact error for support. Do not share authentication tokens or pairing secrets in screenshots.
