A passenger route flight, CargoLife delivery, contract flight, ferry and free flight serve different purposes. The right airport pair alone does not make a flight count for the intended business operation.
1. Open Fly Now
Open FLY NOW and inspect any active web flight before choosing Prepare flight. Do not create a replacement simply because an existing flight is still processing.
In flight setup, choose Passenger for a company passenger route, Freight for CargoLife or a classic contract, Ferry for empty-aircraft repositioning, or Free Flight for the arcade option where allowed. Scheduled and other specialised options may be restricted.
2. Check aircraft and business details
- Choose the route or cargo source required by the operation.
- Confirm the aircraft, current airport, departure and destination.
- For a two-way passenger route, check direction and the corresponding flight number.
- For freight, inspect the selected cargo or contract and loaded quantity.
- Resolve availability, location and maintenance warnings before proceeding.
3. Review dispatch
Follow the SimBrief step if using it. Review aircraft, airports, airline code, flight number, callsign and units before File with SimBrief. Use Skip SimBrief when that is the intended supported workflow. A generated OFP does not by itself prove portal tracking has started.
4. Connect and start tracking
Choose your simulator and complete preflight. Verify the connector is paired and reporting the actual simulator state. Follow the connector guide if it is unavailable. Use the tracking page's start control when its readiness checks allow.
During flight, monitor tracking status. If data stops, investigate the connection before starting a second flight record.
5. Complete the flight
After landing, use the portal's completion workflow. The tracking page checks destination/location and on-ground state. Read any review or pending message and allow completion to process.
Open the resulting report and verify airports, aircraft and outcome. Landing alone is not the final step. If completion remains blocked, collect the flight ID and displayed reason for support.
