Read the record type first

An aircraft status, published schedule and tracked flight status describe different things. A scheduled aircraft is not proof a tracked flight has started. Open the individual flight or aircraft record and read its explanation alongside the label.

Preparation states

A tracked flight can be Draft, Awaiting connector, Connector connected, Awaiting position validation, Position validated or Ready to start. Complete the corresponding setup step: pair the connector, check live simulator data and resolve starting-position checks. Ready to start still requires the tracking start workflow.

During the flight

Tracking means the flight is in its tracking stage. Paused and Connection lost require attention to the simulator or connection; do not create a duplicate flight merely to clear the label. Landed means arrival has been detected, not that all completion processing and business effects are finished.

Completion and exceptions

Processing means the result is being handled. Completed is the finished flight state; open the report to check the outcome. Cancelled and Rejected are not successful completion: read the record explanation before attempting another flight. If processing remains unresolved, preserve the flight ID and report the issue.

For aircraft, Pending delivery and In maintenance are availability checks of their own. Verify recorded readiness rather than relying only on a countdown. Continue with tracking troubleshooting.
