Match the aircraft to the passenger route or cargo job you intend to operate. Keep funds available for delivery, operating costs and maintenance.
1. Compare suitable aircraft
Open Airline → Airline Operations → Marketplace. Search or filter the catalogue and use Compare where offered.
- Check the manufacturer, model and variant. Similar names can have different capacity or range.
- Compare passenger capacity or cargo payload with the planned operation.
- Check range and airport suitability.
- Read the full aircraft listing before choosing a purchase option.
2. Review used aircraft separately
Open the used market and select a listing's details. Compare its asking price, condition and maintenance information, location and delivery terms. A lower purchase price can be offset by immediate maintenance or repositioning.
If a listing is unavailable, refresh the market instead of assuming it is reserved for you. Do not buy a different variant just because it has a similar name.
3. Check the commitment
- Confirm the airline making the purchase.
- Review the selected aircraft and delivery airport.
- Read all quoted charges and any delivery delay.
- If financing or leasing is offered to your account, read the deposit, continuing payments, term and ownership conditions separately from an outright purchase.
- Confirm once, then wait for the result before submitting another purchase.
Do not treat a deposit or lease payment as the aircraft's full purchase cost. Restricted financing, auction or leasing options may not be available to every account.
4. Verify delivery and readiness
Open Fleet and find the aircraft. Confirm its registration, model, ownership or lease status, location and delivery state. A pending delivery is not an aircraft you can immediately schedule or use for CargoLife.
Once delivered, check its maintenance and the starting airport for the intended operation. Follow Aircraft maintenance before assuming a used aircraft is ready for a full flying programme.
If the purchase appears missing
Refresh Fleet, clear its filters, and check pending aircraft and company finances. Record the purchase response and listing details. Investigate an existing transaction before making a replacement purchase.
