Hi All and I thought I would kick off the new year with some awesome new screenshots of our new portal
I don't like the current portal, doesn't feel user friendly, it's clunky and it just looks disneyfied ;-)
So I got inspiration from various CRM platforms and spoken to several users what they hate about current portal. Now a lot of comments a got:
"There is too much going on"
"I want to access it quickly"
"Some pages take ages to load"
Dashboard
The old dashboard did the job, but it came with a cost:
on larger airlines it could take up to 30 seconds to load, pulling large datasets and rendering everything at once.
The new dashboard (screenshots bellow) changes that completely.
⚡ Performance First
This alone makes day to day airline management feel instant rather than sluggish
🧠 CRM-Style UI Redesign
The interface has been fully simplified and modernised, taking inspiration from professional CRM systems
Instead of overwhelming you with information, the dashboard now guides your attention
📊 What’s New
Everything is designed to feel structured, professional and scalable as your airline grows. This dashboard was tested with a new airline and an airline that has 800+ routes and fleet enough to carry everyone out of America
✈️ Why This Matters
FlyLAT airlines are getting bigger. More routes, more aircraft, more pilots, more data. This new dashboard is built to scale with you, not slow you down.
This is still a work in progress, but this redesign lays the foundation for:
📅 Schedule Viewing – A First Look at What’s Coming
Alongside the new dashboard, we’re also introducing a brand-new way to view schedules inside the portal.
This is not about creation yet, this is a preview of the control and clarity that’s coming.
👀 Clear, Structured Schedule Overview
Schedules are now presented in a clean, CRM-style table that’s easy to scan and fast to work with:
No clutter. No guessing. Everything you need at a glance.
🧭 Smart Filtering & Search
🧾 Instant Details Panel
Selecting a flight opens a details panel on the right:
This keeps you in flow, no page hopping, no popups, no reloads.
🚀 Why This Matters
This new schedule view is a foundation feature. It’s built to support what’s coming next in the portal without needing redesigns later.
Think....
This is a glimpse into the future of FlyLAT airline operations... structured, fast, and built to scale.
📘 New Flight Book – Deeper Insight, Better Review Tools
We’ve also been rebuilding the Flight Book from the ground up, turning it into a powerful flight analysis and review tool rather than just a log list. This update is all about visibility, clarity, and depth.
📊 In-Depth Flight Information
Each flight entry now exposes far more operational detail at a glance:
Filtering has been expanded so you can drill down by:
This makes reviewing hundreds of flights fast and practical
🗺️ 2D & 3D Flight Review
Flights can now be reviewed using both 2D and 3D maps, depending on how deep you want to go:
This gives pilots, CEOs, and staff a much clearer picture of how a flight was actually flown, not just where it started and ended.
▶️ Flight Playback – Facelifted
Flight Playback has received a full visual and usability refresh:
Playback now feels like a proper analysis tool, not a debug screen
🛣️ Routes – Less Noise, More Control
The Routes section has also been fully reworked, with a clear goal in mind: remove bloat, surface what matters, and make route management actionable.
The old routes page contained a lot of information that, in reality, very few people used. It looked impressive, but it didn’t help you make better decisions.
That's now gone in the new version
📋 Clean Route List
The new routes list focuses on core operational data only:
Filtering is instant and practical, allowing you to narrow routes by airport or direction without digging through clutter. This makes managing large networks significantly faster.
📊 Route Stats That Actually Matter
When you open a route, you now see useful, decision-driving information:
No filler. No vanity metrics.
🗓️ Upcoming Scheduled Flights
Upcoming scheduled flights are now displayed directly on the route page:
This ties routes and schedules together properly for the first time.
🗺️ Clear Route Map
The map now does exactly what it should:
It’s fast, readable, and functional.
📓 Flight Logs Where They Belong
Flight logs now also sit directly below the route map, giving you:
Everything in one place, in the correct order.
This new Routes experience is built around how airlines actually operate:
No bloat. No wasted clicks. Just the information you actually need.
This change ties together the new dashboard, schedules, and flight book, and it’s another step toward FlyLAT becoming a truly airline-grade operations platform.
⚙️ Company Settings – More Control for CEOs
Company owners now have a dedicated Company Settings section inside the portal, bringing key airline configuration into one clear, central place.
This area is designed specifically for CEOs and owners, giving you control over branding, airline details, and upcoming integrations without digging through multiple pages.
🎨 Airline Branding - You will still be able to manage your airline logo, banner and in the future, potentially ability to share some screenshots. Now this is nothing new, however, it is actually working and you have the ability to edit the image before uploading
🔗 3rd Party Connections (Preview of What’s Coming)
The 3rd Party Connections section is where things get interesting and where future expansion is clearly visible.
🌐 Airline Website Integration
This gives airlines full control over how they present themselves externally.
🤖 SayIntentions.ai API Integration
You’ll be able to connect your virtual airline directly to SayIntentions.ai, allowing deeper integration between platforms.
Requirements:
This opens the door for tighter ecosystem integration between FlyLAT and third-party aviation tools.
Company Settings isn’t just a settings page, it’s a foundation for airline-level customisation and external integrations.
As FlyLAT continues to grow, this section will become the control centre for:
👤 Account Management – Integrations That Work for You
The new Account Settings page brings everything related to your personal account, integrations, and subscription into one clean and easy-to-manage space. This page is focused on control, flexibility, and future automation.
🔗 SimBrief Integration
SimBrief is now directly integrated into flyLAT and can be linked from your account settings.
Once connected:
This integration is optional and fully under your control.
🤖 Automated Flight Plan Filing (Coming Soon)
We are actively working toward automatic flight plan filing directly from flyLAT:
For users who prefer full control:
You choose how hands-on you want to be.
When?
I want to ensure that when this is released it works day one. I do not want to rush the new platform. When this is released, it will replace everything in the portal. Making it much simpler to navigate around. If this means searching for an airport and getting information or searching for a user to see if they are better than you. Everything will be located in this new system. What you have just seen, has been created in about 5 days. So I am burning through this system quickly. TRUST ME (not trust me bro) this system is going to AWESOME. I had already very positive feedback from some community members that have played with it as well as seen screenshots.
Thank you for reading this and thank you for your constant contribution to flyLAT
Love Luke
